The Norwegian School of Hotel Management (NHS) introduced its first Hospitality program in 1912, making it the second oldest hotel school in the world. Today the school is a part of the University of Stavanger, as an institute in the Faculty of Social Sciences.
NHS has currently approximately 550 students enrolled in its three programmes (two Bachelor degrees taught in Norwegian - one focused on Hotel Management, the other on Tourism Management, and an International Master degree in Hospitality Management taught in English).
NHS is home to the editorial team of the Scandinavian Journal of Hospitality and Tourism, and is proud to foster research-based pedagogy in its programmes.
